I recently started a Manhattan project for a young, successful bachelor. After getting off to a great start with his own design, Dave realized he needed help to completing the look….enter Jami Supsic Designs.
One of my first tasks, the master bedroom, calls for the sourcing of sleek sophisticated and masculine linens. This shot from Calvin Klein’s home line will serve as inspiration for the look. Lighting is also a major concern. A long internal hallway in Dave’s bedroom has almost no lighting and the sleeping area would really benefit from a dramatic pendant or drum shade.
My favorite inspiration page (above), features a hanging light made from a vintage gear part. It’s combination of aged wood and industrial aesthetic create something truly unique. I’d love to see Dave mix in some antique and vintage pieces throughout his home to make it more personal, less cookie cutter. Of course now that I’ve pled my case, please look through the others. I’d love to know: which is your favorite scenario?
